What is your position and what do you do in the company?
Within MW.FEP I work in the sales and marketing area. More specifically, I am the commercial entry point for new clients, I take care of the relationship and the tailor-made commercial proposal for our client. Among my most recent objectives is to develop a Marketing department that looks both at enhancing the MW.FEP brand as the beating heart of our customers' products, and at internal and external communication to transfer our values, our skills and our objectives.
What was your path to taking on a senior role in marketing?
I started 8 years ago as Inside Sales with the role of drafting offers for customers but, thanks to a fresh managerial approach, we managed to break down the watertight compartments represented by the various internal departments. Over time they have become a point of reference for creating tailor-made offers for our customers, satisfying the needs of quality, delivery times, price reduction and continuous improvement. The objective of MW.FEP has always been to grow with the range of services offered to our customers and for this reason we have become an ecosystem of electronic services which, starting from the project, are able to accompany our partner up to the end customer, reducing time to market and costs, and developing products of the highest quality and technology. In this path, the need arose to enhance MW.FEP's skills and exploit the most technological marketing tools to attract new customers and increase the relationship with already active customers.
Is there a social network that you prefer and one that you would easily do without?
I follow LinkedIn a lot which I find to be, in our purely B2B model, an excellent topical tool thanks to which I can find innovative ideas and give the right visibility to the company brand. Our goal is to also develop other social networks, thus helping us to transmit our values and find a connection with companies and people who think the same way as us.
How important are social media for your company today and what are the ways to make the best use of them?
Among the company plans there is not only marketing but also recruiting, so we believe in cutting-edge tools and technologies to help us compete in the market and to be an objective for those approaching work or for those looking for a company that focuses on meritocracy: job rotation, the pursuit and achievement of corporate and personal objectives.
Given the growing relevance of the world of social media, combined with the multitude of activities reserved for the marketing office, have you ever thought about entrusting your company's social pages to professionals?
I have the task of designing a marketing department that looks at different aspects: enhancing the brand, making the company visible at fairs and events and being present on social media. There is no doubt that MW.FEP believes a lot in collaboration with companies so we will build the best asset for the short-medium-long term for the management of social networks and the web page, also together with partners with whom we can share our ideas.
What are your future plans in the company and your passions beyond work?
My goal is to create and consolidate a marketing department that helps the company grow and be visible in the market, because our skills can support many other companies in becoming excellent. I don't know if this will be my future, I usually put my all into the things that the company needs, so I want to build something consolidated that looks at the human aspect of marketing, with an eye on technology, and continuous improvement, which can then also be directed by other people. In addition to work, I have a wonderful family with two small children and a very understanding and patient partner who allows me to take a few hours to let off steam with a game of tennis.
