What is your vision of marketing in relation to your role in the company?
Marketing for us has increasingly become an approach to the market rather than standard communication. Corporate commitments and therefore everything relating to internal communication within the company is now a fundamental lever on distribution and which however requires internal organizational restructuring. We operate in a sector that is still very static and is based on reputation, therefore the best marketing for us is represented by references, i.e. the partners with whom we work both for the sale of the product and for everything related to assistance.
What was your path to following communication in the company?
I started working in communication agencies as a copywriter in Milan, after which I moved to Pordenone and Udine. Subsequently, I started my own business because I was interested in discovering how communication worked from different points of view: being just a copywriter was very limiting for me. In the following years I joined Geoclima which at the time was looking for a marketing manager and now I manage the entire online and offline part of the brand.
Which social networks are most in line with your business model and which are least?
LinkedIn is undoubtedly the most targeted platform of all because it is useful for getting in touch with suppliers and partners even if our use remains purely organic. We are also present on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube but all these social networks are used only for positioning because both for the target and for the possibilities of our communication they are limiting social networks.
How much importance does your company give to social networks?
Brand awareness is the objective that reflects Geoclima from the social communication aspect. We pay attention to the digital world and have chosen to share valuable content to attract a quality audience. We do not adopt a pay strategy because the workforce is more important for the company, but we want to focus more on the content marketing part to enhance the product and the different processing phases.
Social media is a constantly changing professional tool, have you ever collaborated with professionals in this discipline?
For the entire rendering and 3D drawing part, Geoclima has externally entrusted itself to an agency but as regards the digital part, everything has always been managed internally.
How do you plan to develop corporate-digital communication for the future?
We will increasingly communicate the projects or installations and applications of Geoclima products. Since we are also based in Australia, Thailand, Russia, England, Spain and the United States, the case studies we can acquire are very different and communicating this part will be for us an implementation of our mission and further added value to the brand.
